Luckily there is alot of gluten free food now days. Each day is getting better for the diet. I just have to make sure I have food ready for Addie if we go out and eat or over to someones house. I am sure as Addie gets older it will get harder for her, but luckily she has so much support to help her through this.
On May, 2 My Mom, sisters and I went down to Pasadena and we went to the Annual Celiac Convention. It was so much fun and we learned alot. It is so nice that I have all my family to help me. They have been so helpful!
One symptom of Celiac Disease is gas and bloating. Addie's tummy got so big I thought it was going to pop. Here is a before picture of her and a picture of her being on the diet for about 2 weeks. Addie also lost weight. You can tell that her face, legs and arms look bigger too!

Oh my goodness, her poor tummy! I'm so so so glad you now have a diagnosis and that she's getting better. My mom's been on a gluten-free diet for a while and it has helped her migraines immensely. Must be a tricky little thing, that gluten.
I am so happy you found out what was wrong!!!! Good luck with everything, just think of it as a new adventure. I have 2 friends who's kids and the whole fam. eat gluten free. Well, I don't think I'll be seeing you soon, we are moving to Texas in 2 months. Have fun in Cali!
Glad you guys figured it all out and she is feeling better. She seems happier now. You are very lucky to have a family that supports you very much. I think it is great that you were all able to go to the convention.
what a huge improvement in such a short amount of time! i'm soooo glad that she's doing better! i love all your new pictures! miss you!
