The Polar Express and Shots

A few Mondays back Addie had her first train ride and her first shots. It was harder to watch Addie get her shots than it was for me to deliver her(and her birth was really painful!) Luckily the nurse that gave her the shots did them really quickly and I was able to comfort Addie within 15 seconds.

Later that day Addie and I met up with all her cousins and rode the train in Oakdale. The train ride was suppose to be like the Polar Express. There we alot of kids in their pajamas and they served cookies and hot chocolate. They had a guy that played Christmas songs on his guitar, A conductor punch a hole through our gold tickets, had an Elf that read all the kids a story and Santa came at the end. This was a really fun experience and will be fun to do again next year!

When Santa came out to see all the kids Jaydin got a little scared. She did not like santa at all. Thank goodness Grandma was there to comfort her!!

That picture of Jaydin is hilarious. It is so freakin funny how scared she is of Santa. You are going to have to show pictures of Santa to Addie year round so she doesn't have a phobia.
